A Little Bit Of Background

📍 Los Angeles

I fell in love with the city of angels for its creativity, its energy, its diversity, and its expression. Here, I have seen my own personal evolution into the person I’ve always wanted to be. Year-round beach weather and extraordinary nature don’t hurt either.

Grant’s Personas

Hockey Player

Hockey Player

Grant’s pride, his passion, his priming. He started playing when he was 5, and hasn’t left the ice since. He draws intensity, discipline, speed, and finesse from his hockey player persona. It’s not just a game; it’s a personality.

yogi doing headstand at sunset

Yogi

That same hard-nosed hockey player found presence, grounding, and stillness in yoga that no other feeling could replicate. Oh, and being upside is pretty fun too.

Grant at Burning Man with the Mayan Warrior

Burner

This place in one word: magic. The principles of radical self-expression and radical self-reliance are key to Grant’s personal philosophy and they are ingrained in the Burner culture. And is there a better time of day to party than at sunrise? Asking for a friend.

Goldeneye Bungee Jump

Jumper

This picture was taken moments before Grant did the same bungee jump as James Bond did in Goldeneye’s opening scene. He’s also jumped out of a plane and into water with great white sharks. I jump at any opportunity for an amazing memory that I can.

Grant writing in his iPad notebook

Writer

Writing is Grant’s truest form of expression. He jotted his first short story as a 7th grader, wrote for his high school newspaper and a college humor blog. He is still writing short stories and blogs today, and is working on a novel series.
